F.I.R.E. is Emmanuel's family inter-generational religious education celebration. October's F.I.R.E. will feature a Seder meal and Passover Celebration.  Passover is a Jewish festival in celebration of the Jews' freedom from slavery and flight from Egypt.  The meal is comprised of foods symbolizing various aspects of the original Passover experience, such as a bitter herb, like horseradish, to represent the bitterness of slavery and a green vegetable to represent rebirth and spring.
