An exciting part of Emmanuel’s commitment to family and community is the Youth Group. The Emmanuel Youth Group is for children from grades 5 –12.
Once a month the youth group participates in either a fellowship event or a service event.
Fellowship events have included hiking, bowling, attending a sports game or having a dinner together.
Service Opportunities might include distributing food at the Bread Fund, helping with Habitat for Humanity or the Disciples Kitchen or any number of other community service opportunities.
The Youth Group is involved in many church activities such as the church clean-up days, Christmas and Easter services, Youth Sunday, and the Bread Fund. The Youth Group also coordinates several annual events such as the Halloween Party and the Easter Egg Hunt.
