We meet as the Emmanuel Women’s Bible Study on alternating Thursdays from 10:30-11:30am in the Parish Hall.
The women’s Bible study group embarked upon a 52-week study of Women of the Bible in March of 2011. While learning more about the major Biblical women’s lives, stories of obscure women revealed how God uses the ordinary to bring about the extraordinary. These new voices help us understand God’s plan for us today as we struggle with many of the same problems as these ancient women in a complex and changing society.
Using Scripture, art, poetry and music, Kathy Stone and Carolyn Rhondeau co-facilitate the women’s study group. We meet every other Thursday in the Parish Hall from 10:30 to 11:30.
All readings are from the study book, Women of the Bible by Ann Spangler and Jean Syswerda. Newcomers welcome! We meet alternate Thursdays in the Parish Hall from 10:30-11:30. Come early for coffee and fellowship.
